Flowers, flowers, and more flowers
January 2005

New Caledonia, like many tropical islands, is certainly a fantastic place for nature lovers in general, and for those who love flowers. It is no surprise that I took several pictures of some plants, flowers, trees, fruits, etc, that we saw while visiting there. Some of them were because I found them beautiful, some others are because I wanted to search in our documentation if I could find what their name was... Sorry, the names I know are in French.

All pictures are available either in tar or zip formats. Also available is a tar archive of the original pictures, before being reworked (these are actually the same). Note that the tarballs contain all the pictures I took, not just the ones I present on this page.

Frangipanier

This picture was mostly for Dad, as this flower comes from a tree that is one of my Dad's favorites. We took this picture because we don't remember seeing this color in the trees we have in Reunion Island.
